Final rites for Rodney E. Smith, 3 - year - old - son of Mr. and Mrs. Willie E. 
Smith of 424 Clifton street, were held at St. John AME Church chapel on Feb. 12.

The child died on Feb. 8 in a Norfolk hospital.  The Rev. W. L. Hildebrand 
officiated at the rites.  Burial was in Calvary Cemetery under direction of B. F. 
King Funeral Home.

In addition to his parents, Rodney is survived by two brothers Larry and Michael 
Smith.
