Norfolk - Mrs. Nannie Smith of 1327 Marshall avenue died in her home.

A native of Franklin, she was a daughter of the late Plummer and Mrs. Julia 
Palmer and the widow of Samuel Smith.

She was a member of Greater Metropolitan AME Church.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Mamie Deloatch of Norfolk;  a nephew, Preston 
Davis of Cape Charles;  three grandchildren;  and 13 great-grandchildren.

Hale Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
