Norfolk - A double funeral will be held at First Calvary Baptist Church Friday 
at 1 p.m. for two sisters, Mrs. Mary E. Cofield of Norfolk and Mrs. Mary Frances 
Smith of Brooklyn, NY.  The Rev. C. E. Griffin, pastor, will officiate.

Mrs. Smith, of 903 Virginia Beach boulevard, died in a hospital Aug. 14, and her 
sisters, Mrs. Cofield, was taken to the hospital later where she died Aug. 20.

Both were natives of Inglehard, NC, and daughters of the late Soloman and Mrs. 
Sally Spencer of Inglehard.

Mrs. Smith was the wife of Wallace Smith.  One brothers survives the sisters, 
John H. Spencer of Smyrna, DE.
