The Rev. O. B. Burson officiated. Interment was in Calvary Cemetery with Hale Funeral Home in charge. The Mecklenburg County native, who died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Juanita Rogers of 2809 Stanhope avenue, lived in Norfolk 67 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Lamberts Point, 50 years. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Juanita Rogers, two sons, Charles H. Smith and George A. Smith, a brother, James Baskerville, and a grandson, all of Norfolk; and two sisters, Mrs. Alice Randolph of Cape Charles, VA, and Mrs. Nellie Harris of Baltimore.
