Death was due to heart failure. A coroner's jury rendered a verdict that death ensued from natural causes. Sunday night Captain Smith retired apparently in the best of health. Yesterday morning when he failed to respond to knocks on the door his friends broke into the room and found him dead on the bed. **************************************************** The remains of George Smith, found dead at Ocean View Monday morning, will be interred in Magnolia Cemetery today at 12 o'clock.
