Gibbs, Arlington Avenue, Campostella Heights, after an illness of several months. He was a son of the late Thomas and Mrs. Sarah Prentice Smith, Ashtabula, O., but had been a resident of this section more than half of his life. Mr. Smith was of a genial disposition and readily made friends with those he chanced to meet. He was an active member and vestryman of St. Thomas Episcopal Church for many years. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Hattie Smith and one sister, the latter in Ashtabula. The funeral will be conducted at the residence this afternoon at 3 o'clock by Rev. W.H. Osborne, rector of St. Thomas Episcopal Church, assisted by Rev. S.J. Battin, pastor of Memorial Methodist Church. Burial will be in the family lot in Magnolia Cemetery.
