Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark April 3, 1912

                            MRS. SEREPTA LULA SMITH

After a lingering illness Mrs. Serepta Lula Smith, widow of the late Wesley 
Smith died at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Ida Bell Jackson, Parker 
Avenue and 37th Street yesterday, aged 68 years.
The funeral will take place from the above residence at 3 o'clock tomorrow 
afternoon.  Services will be conducted by Rev. S. Bray of the Zion M.E. 
Church, assisted by Rev. George W. Cox, of the Burrows Memorial Baptist 
Church.  Interment will be made in Elmwood Cemetery.

Interred in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
