Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - April 1, 1992

Harriet Kirby "Patsy" Smith, 94, of the 3900 block of Llewellyn Ave., a 
former housemother, died March 31, 1992, in a nursing home.
Mrs. Smith was born in Norfolk and was a charter member of Willowwood 
Presbyterian Church. She was formerly employed with Norfolk General Hospital 
School of Nursing. She was a member of Friends of the Norfolk Public 
Library.
Survivors include two daughters, Patricia S. Relyea of Virginia Beach and 
Shirley N. Sellers of Norfolk; a son, Bartin Smith of New York City; a 
sister, Alida K. Daniel of Virginia Beach; 11 grandchildren and 15 great-
grandchildren.
The graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in Magnolia 
Cemetery by the Rev. Frank Drake. Friends may join the family from 7 to 9 
p.m. today at 6240 Rolfe Ave. Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, 
is handling arrangements.
Memorial donations may be made to the church.
