NORFOLK - William H. (Neppy) Smith of 1517 Claiborne Ave., died Sunday in a 
hospital.

A native of Norfolk, he was a son of the late James A. and Mrs. Emma J. Smith.

He was retired from Norfolk Naval Air Station.

He was a member of St. John AME Church.

Surviving are a brother, Crispus A. Smith of Baltimore; and a sister, Mrs. 
Alicia S. Boston of Norfolk.

A funeral service will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. in St. John AME Church by the 
Rev. A.R. Powell. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery with Hale Funeral Home in 
charge.
