The Virginian Pilot Friday January 2, 1981
Mrs. Myrtle Hancock Smith, 86, of 7237 Wilby St., the widow of H. Garrett 
Smith and a native of Baltimore, died Thursday morning in a hospital.
She was a member of galilee Episcopal Church and a charter member of Princess 
Anne Country Club.
Surviving include three sisters, Mrs. Corrine H. Parrott, Mrs. Kathryn Galvin, 
and Mrs. Esther Snowden of Norfolk; and nieces and nephews.
A funeral will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in Cedar Grove Cemetery by the Revs. 
John H. Jordan and Edmund Berkeley. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Norfolk, 
has charge.
