NORFOLK - Leroy Smith of 2415 Jamaica Ave., a retired longshoreman of ILA Local 
1248 and a native of Spartanburg SC, died Friday in a hospital.
  Survivors include a foster daughter, Mrs. Cherry Fitzgerald, and a foster son, 
James Hayes, both of Norfolk.
  A funeral service will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. in Graves Funeral Chapel with 
burial in Calvary Cemetery.
