Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Thursday, October 27, 1994 
Mary L. Smith of the 400 block of E. Olney Road died Oct. 23, 1994, in a local
hospital.

Mrs. Smith was born in Newbern, N.C.

Survivors include three daughters, Sheryl Rainey and Stacey Smith, both of
Norfolk, and Karen Welch of Virginia Beach; a son, Ernest Smith of Jonesboro,
Ga.; and eight grandchildren.

A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at Graves Funeral Home by the Rev.
Anthony Moses. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . The family will assemble at
the residence.
