Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Tuesday, December 12, 1995 
Kenneth W. Smith, 30, of North Miami, Fla., died Dec. 7, 1995.

He was a native of Norfolk and belonged to St. John's A.M.E. Church. He was a
graduate of Norview High School and Commonwealth College.

He is survived by his mother, Ruth C. Smith of Norfolk; two brothers, Larry
Cason of Philadelphia and Michael Smith of Norfolk; three aunts, Mildred Garner,
Norma Hurdle, both of Norfolk, Jean Mayes of Chesapeake; uncle, Fred Cason of
Fort Washington, Md.; and a host of relatives and friends. He was preceded in
death by his father, Wille E. Smith.

A funeral service will be conducted at noon Thursday by the Rev. I.W. Knight Sr.
in St. John's A.M.E. Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Pretlow and
Sons Funeral Home, Chesapeake, is in charge.
