Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Sunday, April 21, 1996 
Beatrice M. Smith, of the 200 block of South Newtown Road, died April 16, 1996,
in a local nursing home.

She worked as a secretary for the United Order of Tents and was a member of
First Baptist Church Bolling Brook, Norfolk. Mrs. Smith was also a member of the
United Order of Tents and a member of the Eastern Star. She was the widow of
William Smith and was a native of Bracey, Va.

She is survived by a niece, Karen Mayo of New York.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday by the Rev. Clinton Brown in
First Baptist Church Bolling Brook. Burial is in Calvary Cemetery . The body
will be placed in the church at 10 a.m. Tuesday. Hale Funeral Home is in charge.
