The funeral of Mr. Laban B. Smith, whose untimely demise occurred at the home 
of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Laban J. Smith, Fenchurch street, Thursday, was 
held from the residence at 4 o'clock yesterday afternoon, Rev. Dr. W.J. Young, 
of Epworth Church, officiating. The attendance was large and the floral 
tributes beautiful. The remains were laid to rest in Elmwood Cemetery. 
Following were the pall-bearers: Henry McLean Trent, Walter H. Church, Roswell 
Cassee, Harry Williams, George Graham, Frank Tatly, William McClenan and W.H. 
Curtis.
