Norfolk Journal and Guide, Feb. 4, 1961
Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. E. Paul Simms at First Baptist
church on Jan. 29 for Mrs. Martha Smith who died at the church home on Jan. 24.

Mrs. Smith  was a native of Norfolk and was the daughter of the late Mr. and
Mrs. Madison Adams.  Her husband was the late George Smith.

Surviving Mrs. Smith is a nephew, Robert Thompson.

Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with Hale Funeral Home handling arrangements.
