Norfolk - Louis Smith, 50, of 1017 Hanson avenue, who died Dec. 27 in a Norfolk
hospital, was given final rites Dec. 29 in Mt. Zion Baptist Church.   Burial was
in Calvary Cemetery with Morning Glory Funeral Home in charge.

The Lynnhaven native was the husband of Mrs. Hazel Smith and a son of Linton
Wilson and the late Mrs. Rebecca Wright.  He was a member of Lynnhaven Baptist
Church.

He is also survived by three sons, Louis Jr., Leroy Smith and Reginald  Smith of
Norfolk;  four daughters, Misses Patricia Smith, Sheila Smith and Hattie Smith
of Norfolk and Christine Smith of Virginia Beach;  a brother, Oteff Wilson of
Virginia Beach;  and two sisters, Mrs. Carrie Wilson of Virginia Beach and Mrs.
Margaret Russell of Norfolk.
