Norfolk - Mrs. Mamie J. W. Smith of 722 Reservoir Ave., the widow of Willie
Smith, died July 1 in a hospital.  She was born in North Carolina.

She worked as a domestic.

She was a member of the Pioneer Club, Missionary Circle, Hick Memorial Club, Aid
Society, and Floral Club of Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church and St. Grand Lodge 6.

A funeral service was held July 3 in Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church by the Rev. F.
P. Wise.  Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery with Hale Funeral Home in charge.
