Norfolk Virginian August 21, 1894

SMITH - At 10:15 a.m. Monday, at the residence of her husband, No. 422 
Brambleton Avenue, LOUISA C., beloved wife of George W. Smith, aged 57 years.
The funeral will take place from the residence of her sister-in-law, No. 420 
Brambleton Avenue, WEDNESDAY at 4 p.m. Friends and acquaintances invited to 
attend.

The funeral of Mrs. Louisa C. Smith, wife of Mr. George W. Smith, took place 
yesterday afternoon from the residence, No. 420 Brambleton Avenue, and was 
conducted by Rev. Rev. J.C. Martin, of Queen Street M.E. Church. The interment 
was in Elmwood.
