Norfolk - Final rites will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Hale Funeral Home for
Mrs. Virginia Rebecca Smith of 1314 Corprew avenue.  Mrs. Smith died May 25 in a
Portsmouth hospital.

The Rev. William Whitehurst will officiate at the funeral.  Burial will be in
Calvary Cemetery.

A Norfolk native, Mrs. Smith is survived by her parents, the Rev. Mr. and Mrs.
James Billups;  her husband, Randolph Smith;  a son, Richard P. Davis of New
York; six daughters, Mrs. Bernice Williams, Mrs. Barbara Brower, Misses Audrey,
Linda, Brenda and Marita Smith of Norfolk;  and three brothers, Willie, Artiel
and Herbert Moss of New York.
