Norfolk Virginian Tuesday January 29,1895
 

Loring C. Smith's funeral took place Sunday afternoon at 3 p.m. from his 
residence, No. 19 Falkland street. The services were conducted by Rev. A.S. 
Lloyd, assisted by Rev. B.D. Tucker. The interment was in Elmwood Cemetery. 
There were many Pythians and Odd Fellows in attendance.
