Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Friday, September 25, 1998
Belinda Smith of the 1000 block of W. 38th St. died Sept. 23, 1998, at Lynn
Shores Manor. She was a native of Norfolk.

Survivors include her daughter, Morgan B. Smith of Newport News; her mother,
Ernestine Beamon of Norfolk; a sister, Karen A. Smith, and brother, Carl Smith,
both of Norfolk; grandparents, Leanna Jones, Ernest and Ethel Parker, all of
Norfolk; a special cousin, Linda Anderson; and a host of other relatives and
friends.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul C.M.E. Church by the
Rev. Calvin Edgerton. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . The remains will be
ready for viewing at 3:30 today at Carlos A. Howard Funeral Home, Norfolk
Chapel. The body will be taken to the church at 9 a.m. Saturday. The family will
assemble at 815 Pecan Point Road at 10 a.m. for the procession.
