Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Thursday, September 25, 2003 
NORFOLK - Elsie E. Smith of the 1000 block of Anderson St. died Sept. 22, 2003.
Born in Cowpens, S.C., she was self-employed and a widow. She was a member of
Greater Metropolitan AME Zion Church.

She is survived by two sisters, Lillian Wiggins of Spartanburg, S.C. and
Canzater Benson of Norfolk and a host of other relatives and friends.

A funeral will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in Greater Metropolitan AME Zion Church
by Pastor Felix Ofosu with burial in Calvary Cemetery . Graves Funeral Home is
in charge.
