The funeral of Charles Smith, son of Mr. and Mrs. R. T. Smith, 744 Princess Anne
avenue, was held at Queen Street Baptist Church Monday, March 26, at 1 p.m. The
deceased was a member of the above named church. Rev. F. W. Williams, the
pastor, officiated and spoke in high esteem of the beautiful life and character
of the young man. Solos were rendered by Messrs. William Peacox, E. Branch and
C. Thomas. Floral tributes were numerous and beautiful. Interment was in Calvary
Cemetery. The deceased is survived by his widow, two children, mother and
father, four brothers and a number of relatives.
