Norfolk Journal and Guide,Mar 3, 1945
Mrs. Bettie Smith - Funeral services for Mrs. Smith, of Oakwood, Norfolk County 
VA, who died on Feb. 20, were held at Zion Light Baptist Church on Feb. 25 with 
the Rev. J. T. Jones officiating. She is survived by one daughter, four 
grandchildren, and three sisters. Interment was in Oakwood Cemetery with Hale’s 
Funeral Home in charge.
