Norfolk - Jake Smith of 1239 Griffin street, who died Jan. 21 in his home, was 
given final rites Tuesday in Hale Funeral Chapel.  Burial was in Calvary 
Cemetery.

Mr. Smith, who is survived by a son, Charlie Smith of Norfolk, was a retired 
employee of Miles Oyster Company.  He was a son of Jake Smith Sr. and Mrs. 
Matilda Smith and the husband of Mrs. Aline Smith.
