Willie Smith Sr.
Norfolk - Willie (Dick) Smith Sr., 75, of 7100 Gregory Drive died Monday in a 
New York City hospital after a short illness.

He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Willie Smith and the widower of Mrs. Gussie 
Smith. A native of Norfolk, he was a retired barber.

He formerly was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.

He is survived by one son, Willie Smith Jr. of Norfolk; one daughter, Mrs. Irene 
Lee of New York City; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Lillian Green; 12 grandchildren and 
10 great-grandchildren.

The body was taken to Hale Funeral Home, where a funeral service will be held 
Sunday. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
