SMOTHERS, MARY AGNES FRIARY – At the residence of her daughter, Mrs. John F. 
Maddock, No. 618 Carolina avenue, Colonial Place, Wednesday, June 13, 1945, at 
8:30 o’clock p.m., MARY AGNES FRIARY, widow of Thomas A. Smothers and daughter of 
the late Patrick Thomas and Ellen Kiernan Friary. Remains will be taken from the 
H. D/ Oliver Funeral Apartments, No. 1501 Colonial avenue, to Blessed Sacrament 
Catholic church for services SATURDAY MORNING at 10 o’clock. Friends of the family 
are invited to attend. Interment, St. Mary’s cemetery. Kindly omit flowers.
