Norfolk Virginian January 15, 1892

Mrs. Mary E. Smothers, widow of Geo. W. Smothers, died at her home in 
Brambleton yesterday of pneumonia, aged 59 years.  The funeral will take place 
today.

Mrs. G.W. Smothers' funeral was preached yesterday morning at 10 o'clock by 
Rev. E.B. McCluer, at her residence at the corner of Park and Highland 
Avenues.
