The Virginian Pilot Tuesday November 1, 1966
Mrs. Ethel Meacham Smyth, 81, of 7211 Granby St. died in her home Monday at 
12:30 a.m.
She was the widow of J.C. Smyth and a daughter of Frederick C. and Mrs. Ann 
Garland Meacham.  A native of Brooklyn, she was an Episcopalian.
She is survived by four sisters, Mrs. M.L. Gundlach of Wallingford, Conn., 
Mrs. S.H. Greenshield of Millwood, N.Y., Mrs. Isabelle Orr of Brooklyn and 
Mrs. George Jenkinson of Tulsa, Okla.
The body will be taken from H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Norfolk, to 
Elmwood Cemetery for a funeral service Wednesday at 10 a.m. by Dr. Peyton R. 
Williams of Christ and St. Lukes Episcopal Church.
