GLEN ALLEN - Esther W. Snead departed this life Jan. 9, 2002. 
Surviving are a son, Dwight H. Snead Jr. of Glen Allen; a daughter, Joy Snead 
Pryor of Hampton; a granddaughter, Zoe Simone Snead; three sisters, Alice W. 
Bowens of Norfolk, Doris W. Babbs of Virginia Beach and Lenora W. Coles of 
Richmond; a brother, Clarence C. Willey of Norfolk; a host of nieces, nephews, 
cousins; a daughter-in-law, Angela T.P. Snead; son-in-law, Robert Pryor III; 
three brothers-in-law; two sisters-in-law; a devoted friend, Linda R. Wright; 
other relatives and devoted friends. 
Remains will rest at Scott's Funeral Home, 115 E. Brookland Park Blvd., where 
the family will receive friends Sunday from 4 to 6 p.m. Funeral services will be 
Monday at Mount Olive Baptist Church, 8775 Mount Olive Ave., Glen Allen, Va., by 
the Rev. Darryl Thompson. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Norfolk.
