Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Thursday, May 30, 2002 
NORFOLK - Warren ``Rainbow'' Snipes, 56, formerly of the 700 block of W. 28th
St., quietly passed May 27, 2002. He was a native of Norfolk born to the late
Eric and Ruth Bates Snipes and was the widower of Wilemena Snipes.

He leaves to cherish his memory two daughters, Wanda Cook and Rhonda Thompson; a
son, Lorenzo Earl Snipes; a sister, Jacqueline Osbourne; three grandchildren,
Michelle Cook, Shawn Lorenzo Battle and Tiayana Thompson; a special friend, Mary
Thompson; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A funeral will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Riddick Funeral Service chapel.
Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery . A viewing will be held Friday from 2 to
8 p.m. at the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m.
