Last rites for Mrs. Nannie Snowden of RFD 4 were conducted Monday, Oct. 18 
at Metropolitan AME Church by the pastor, the Rev. R. A. Council.  Mrs. 
Snowden died at her home Tuesday, Oct. 22 after a short illness.

She was a member of I. B. P. E., the Shrine Fez Club, the Phyllis Wheatley 
Lodge, and the Spring Social and Savings Club.

Surviving Mrs. Snowden are one son, James Snowden of Norfolk,  one sister, 
five brothers, one granddaughter and thee great grandchildren.

Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.
