He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Mathews Snowden; eight daughters, Mary Catherine, Mabel Evelyn, Sarah Elizabeth, Elma Moncure, Anne Lorene, Lillian May Wesley, Lucy Wheadon and Lenora Irene Snowden; a son, Charles E. Snowden; a sister, Mrs. W.J,. Culpepper, of Norfolk and two brothers, W.J. and Edward B. Snowden, of Snowden, N.C. Mr. Snowden was a native of Currituck County, N.C., but had been a resident of Norfolk for the past 27 years and was a member of Industry Council No. 1, O.F.A.F.A. The body was taken to the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Twenty-ninth and Granby streets, pending funeral arrangements. ************************************************************************** Charles Cleveland Snowden --Funeral services for Mr. Snowden will be conducted at the Hollomon-Brown funeral home, Twenty-ninth and Granby streets, this afternoon at 3:30 o'clock, by the Rev. G.M. Bishop, pastor of the Brambleton Avenue Methodist Church. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
