Wood, 351 West Olney road, last night at 6:50 o'clock after a long illness. He is survived by two sons, John J. Snyder, of Norfolk, and George L. Snyder, of Richmond; a sister, Mrs. R.I. Bosman, of Norfolk; a brother, D.K. Snyder, of Portsmouth; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Mr. Snyder was a native of Portsmouth and had been a resident of Norfolk for 52 years. He was an elder and one of the charter members of Knox Presbyterian Church. He was an employe of the Navy Yard for 34 years and was retired in 1920. The body will be taken from the residence to Knox Presbyterian Church for funeral services tomorrow afternoon at 3 o'clock. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
