Roy Sobell, a well-known jockey, who was hurt internally by a fall from a horse 
two years ago at Pimlico, died last night at the Argyle Hotel, No. 62 City Hall 
avenue, aged 28 years. His home is said to have been in Chicago. The funeral 
arrangements were not complete today.

The funeral of Roy Sobel, the jockey who died on Tuesday night at the Argyle hotel 
on City Hall avenue, will take place Friday morning at 10 o’clock from St. Mary’s 
Catholic church. The interment will be in St. Mary’s cemetery.
