Jennie A. Sokol, 71, of Virginia Beach, died Sept. 28, 1993, in a Norfolk 
hospital.

Mrs. Sokol was a native of Norfolk, Va. She was the widow of Nick Sokol Jr.

Survivors include three daughters, Jacquelyn Baxter, of Virginia Beach, Angela 
Sullivan, of Powells Point, N.C., Teresa Kirby, of Virginia Beach; a son, Michael 
Sokol, of Flagler Beach, Fla.; two brothers, Vincent Carlo, of Portsmouth and 
Julius Carlo, of Norfolk; and five grandchildren.

We had to let you go, Mom. You wanted him so bad. Now you are in his arms, safe 
and sound with our Dad.

A Funeral Mass will be conducted at 9:30 a.m. Thursday in St. Gregory's Catholic 
Church. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Norfolk. Visitation will be at 
the home of Mrs. Teresa Kirby, 537 Greencastle Lane in Virginia Beach from 7 to 8 
p.m. today. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Laskin Road Chapel, is handling 
arrangements.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
