NORFOLK — Elizabeth A. Somich, 70, of 561 Garren Ave., died Sunday in a 
hospital. She was a native of Cleveland and the wife of Michael Somich.
She was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church and the Ladies Auxiliary of 
Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3160, Ocean View.
Other survivors include two sisters, Mary Ann Fiano of Norfolk and Veronica 
Vanjo of Chicago; two brothers, Paul Vanjo of Richmond Heights, Ohio, and Albert 
Vanjo of Wickliffe, Ohio; and nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be conducted at 9:30 a.m. Thursday in Christ the King Church by 
the Rev. J. Michael Breslin. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery with Smith & 
Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, in charge.
A prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. today in the funeral home. The family 
will be at the funeral home today from 7 to 8 p.m.
