Norfolk Virginian Pilot April 5, 1936
Mrs. Mary S. Sommers died at her residence in Crisfield, Md., yesterday morning 
after a short illness.  She was a native of Norfolk and had been living at 
Crisfield for the past four years.  She was the widow of John H. Sommers and is 
survived by six daughters, Mrs. Fred Halstead, Munden; Mrs. Mary Frank, 
Norfolk; Mrs. S. Boomer, Washington, D.C.; Mrs. Gordan Adams, Crisfield; Mrs. 
John Mance, Norfolk, and Mrs. Upshur Adams, Crisfield, and five sons, P.C., 
John, Jr., and Louis Somers, of Norfolk; Ralph Sommers, Crisfield and Clarence 
Sommers, Palm Beach, Fla.
The body will be brought to Norfolk and taken to the funeral home of E. Lee Cox 
& Bro, 631 Westover avenue, pending funeral arrangements.
