Dorothea G. Sopher, 69, of the 7000 block of Auburn Ave., died May 15, 1994, in a 
local hospital.

Mrs. Sopher was a loving daughter of the late Lillian P. and Leon Goodman. She was 
a native of Norfolk and a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church. She was a 
secretary for the Lake Taylor Patient Association and a member of The Braywood 
Manor Tenant Association.

Survivors include a daughter, Mary Kathleen Doyle; a son-in-law, James R. Doyle; 
and one grandson, Michael R. Doyle, all of Virginia Beach.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Thursday in St. Mary's 
Cemetery by the Rev. Lou Rouff. Memorial donations may be made to Lake Taylor 
Hospital. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Norfolk, is handling arrangements.
