Philip Southall, 525 Nicholson street, died at his residence on May 11 after a
long illness. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Ida Southall, and daughter, Miss
Gladys Southall. Funeral services were held at Bank Street Baptist Church May
18. Interment took place in Calvary Cemetery with Hale Funeral Home in charge.

Mr. Southall was a well-known native of Norfolk.
