The Virginian Pilot Wednesday April 1, 1959
NORFOLK - Mrs.Mary Southall, 79, of 604 E. Bute St., died Monday at her 
residence after a short illness.
 She was the daughter of Mrs. Delia Green, and widow of Henry Southall. She was 
a native of Wilmington, N.C., and had been in Norfolk more than 30 years.
 Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Lucille Watts and a grandson, Raymond Watts, 
both of New York City.
 Funeral services will be conducted at the Citizens Funeral Home Thursday at 11 
a.m. by the Rev. F.P. Wise, pastor of Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church. Burial will be 
in Calvary Cemetery.
