Southside deaths New Journal and Guide (1916-2003); Nov. 1,1952;  ProQuest Historical Newspapers:  Norfolk Journal and guide (1952-2003) pg C16
E. P. Southall - Funeral services for Mr. Southall, 910 Maypole avenue, were
held Wednesday, Oct. 22, at First Baptist Church, Berkley, with the pastor, the
Rev. J. C. Diamond, officiating.
  Mr. Southall is survived by his widow, Mrs. Emma Southall; one daughter and
one son, and many other relatives and friends.
  Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with a military guard of honor rendering
services.  Chatman Funeral Home was in charge.
