NORFOLK - Elenora G. Southall of 809 Avenue A, a native of Conway, N.C., and the
widow of Joseph Southall Sr., died Saturday in her home.

She was a member of Queen Street Baptist Church and Adah Chapter 20, Order of
Eastern Star.

Survivors include a daughter, Hattie S. Boughes of Chesapeake; a son, Joseph
Southall Jr. of Norfolk; three sisters, Mamie Kelly of Norfolk and Neppie Deloatch
and Barbara Edwards, both of Jackson, N.C.; five grandchildren; and two
great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday in St. John's AME Church, Norfolk,
by Dr. J.J. Freeman. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, with Pretlow's Funeral Home
in charge. A wake will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. The family
will be at her home.
