NORFOLK - Clarence I. Southard Jr., infant son of Clarence I. and Mrs. Marie 
Beaulieu Southard, of 1501 Irwin Ave. died Thursday at 2:45 a.m. in Portsmouth 
Naval Hospital.
Besides his parents, he is survived by his parental grandmother, Mrs. Ethel Bishop 
of Welch, W.Va.; parental grandfather, Clarence Southard of Princeton, W.Va.; and 
maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Zatique Beaulieu of Canada.
The body will be taken from H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments to St. Mary’s Cemetery 
for a funeral service Saturday at noon.
