She was a daughter of James and Harriette Humphress Meiggs, and widow of Raynor Speight. She was a native of Norfolk County, where she had made her home all her life. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. G.W. Sykes, of Berkley, and Mrs. Lulu Womack, of Highland Park; 23 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren. Mrs. Speight was a member of the Berkley Avenue Baptist Church. The body was removed to the Graham Funeral Home, 124 East Berkley avenue, where funeral services will be conducted Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'clock. Burial will be in the Magnolia Cemetery.
