Speight, relict of the late Henry Speight, died suddenly at her residence, on Montlant avenue at 6:10 Sunday morning. She was 45 years old and leaves five children, three sons and two daughters. The funeral was conducted from the residence yesterday afternoon at 4 o'clock by Rev. L. R. Christie, pastor of Spurgeon Memorial Baptist Church, Norfolk. The remains were laid to rest in Magnolia Cemetery. The following gentlemen were the pallbearers: Messrs J.H. Jacocks, S.D. Martin, T.C. Humphries, N.B. Langley, Richard Roach and Hon. James M. Berkley.
