Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Wednesday, June 3, 1992 
Beatrice F. Speller of the 1200 block of Colonial Ave., a retired laundry
worker, died June 1, 1992, in a hospital.

Mrs. Speller was born in Mathews County, Va. She had retired from the Norfolk
Naval Base after 25 years. She was a member of New Calvary Baptist Church and
the Senior Citizens Club.

Survivors include a daughter, Ruth A. Pittman of Richmond.

The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday in New Calvary Baptist Church
by the Rev. G.G. Campbell. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Family and
friends will assemble at noon in the funeral home. The body will be placed in
church at 10 a.m. Graves Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
