NORFOLK - Patrick H. Spellman of 1352 Fulton St. died Saturday in a hospital.

A native of Princess Anne County, he was the husband of Mrs. Annie H. Spellman. 
He retired from ILA Local 1248 after 25 years. He was a member of C.H. Mason 
Memorial Church of God in Christ.

Besides his widow, survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Nellie C. Turner, Miss 
Ruth Spellman, Mrs. Martha Walker, and Mrs. Annie Washington, all of Norfolk; 
four sons, Joseph H. Harrington of Virginia Beach, James P. Spellman of 
Chesapeake, Donald Spellman of New York, and Bernard E. Spellman of Norfolk; two 
sisters, Mrs. Ethel Spellman, and Mrs. Virginia McConnell, both of Norfolk; a 
brother, Demsey Spellman of Philadelphia; 30 grandchildren; and 10 great-
grandchildren.

A funeral will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in C.H. Mason Memorial Church of God in 
Christ by the Rev. David Williams. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Hale 
Funeral Home has charge. The family will be at the home of Mrs. Annie H. 
Spellman, 1041 Mariner St.
