Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark June 11, 1912

SPENCE - At the family residence 66 Chesapeake avenue, South Norfolk, Monday 
evening, June 10, 1912, at 5:20 o'clock, WILBUR CYRUS SPENCE, son of M.L. 
and Mrs. Hattie M. Spence, aged 4 years, 1 month and 26 days.
Funeral services from the above residence THIS (Tuesday) AFTERNOON at 4:30 
o'clock.  Interment in Magnolia Cemetery.  Friends of the family cordially 
invited to attend.

Wilbur Cyrus Spence, the four-year-old son of M.L. and Hattie L. Spence, 
died yesterday evening at 5:20 o'clock, at the family residence, 66 
Chesapeake avenue, South Norfolk, after a lingering illness.
The funeral services will be conducted at the residence this afternoon at 
4:30 o'clock, with Rev. W.A. Smith, pastor of the South Norfolk Baptist 
Church, officiating.  The interment will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
